About Sussex Ambulance
We have remained at the heart of patient transportation in the UK for 30 years. Established in 1991 as In-Pulse Medical Services (IMS), now also trading as Sussex Ambulance.
We operate a modern fleet of fully equipped private ambulances to provide the longest running private ambulance service in the area. Fully insured to deliver a wide range of services, our dedicated ambulance crews are linked via a national communication network to ensure a high efficiency and rapid response.

With our modern control center based in Sussex, UK, we are ideally situated close to major Motorway Arteries, London Airports and Ferry Ports to Europe. A recent move to a new, larger hub has enabled us to expand and update our facilities to ensure we always give the best possible services.

Our newly opened training center allows us to ensure our staff are trained to the highest possible standards, along with providing a variety of courses and specialist training through our sister company In-Pulse Medical Training Center Ltd.

We are situated in Peacehaven close to the A259 coast road, giving us an optimum level of access to all parts of the South of England.
Trained Staff
We will always provide the best qualified staff for any situation, whether you require a specific level of training or you just need a female crew.
Our staff are suitably trained to the industry standards arranged by the Institute of Health and Care Development and are certified with a minimum of First Aid at Work Certificates including AED, Entonox, Manual Handling and Oxygen Therapy.
Vehicles
Our crews are supported by one of the most progressive ambulances fleets in the service, each vehicle fully equipped to maximise patient care and attention.

We provide purpose built, leased and owned vehicles with facilities for stretchered, wheelchair and walking patients. Our vehicles and equipment are regularly maintained and serviced to provide the safest environment.
